OCF Launch

Williamson and Dinah Oigara Community Foundation was launched on the 24th of December 2010. The event was held at Tinderet village, in Nyamaira County. The foundation launch is a tribute to their parents.

The guest speaker, Mr Michael Bosire, an uncle to the family informed the gathering on the need to foster unity and purpose. He commended the Family in on the initiative. He stated that this institution is a vehicle to carry forwards the family vision in supporting education. He assured of his support.

Dr Joyce Oigara,  a member of the  family, reiterated efforts made by their parents to to facilitate their children, and members of the extended family receive education  a key  foundation towards personal development.

She presented a copy of the community foundation document and certificate.

Another family member Mr Moses Oigara, emphasised the importance of cherishing this initiative as it will be beneficial to the family and community at large  In conclusion, Dr Oigara urged all members to come forward in support of  the foundation in various capacities  including ,  proving resources, skills and talents.
